A marked Huret dress of 1855-1860 was the inspiration for this proprietary, medium-weight cotton. Featuring graceful birds alighting on delicate, flowering vines, we have fashioned a unique fabric in a glorious shade of fuchsia on a pale ivory background. Starring in a Grovian Museum sewing workshop, it is truly a dream to sew with, and lends itself beautifully to gathering and pleating. Made into a little enfantine-style day dress with puffed sleeves, the costume would look superb on your Huret or Rohmer doll.
