Custom-printed chiffon featuring black roses was the inspiration for “Rose Noire,” a delightful evening ensemble designed for Fanny and Her Friends. When our model “Char Ling” feels the inspiration to appear entirely avant-garde, she strolls over to the House of Paul Poiret for the latest dress model of 1913.
This chic ensemble is comprised of a hobble skirt/under-dress that you will sew from soft to the touch black silk, plus a unique hooped bodice from the rose-printed silk chiffon. A belt of black taffeta featuring beaded fringe add even more dimension to this magnificent creation.
Included in the kit is a paper pattern, instructions and all components needed to create the ensemble pictured here, including the feathered headdress.
Also included is a pattern and cotton material to make basic underwear. A very special bonus is the fact that handcrafted in-house leather slippers are included in each kit, as well as a pair of silk stockings.
Doll and jewelry accessories are not included.
