From the “I Remember Paris” Collection
Longtime and prolific doll costumer, Michael Canadas, with assistance from the Carmel Doll Shop Team, has created a limited number of ensemble kits to fit the Carl Armstrong Rohmer “Mathilde” - approximately 13 1/2” tall. (However, the ensemble will fit the Huret on the resin body with proper fitting as you assemble the costume.)
The "Château de Fontainebleau" Ensemble Kit is an exclusive design from the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, based on an antique, original ensemble found in the Grovian Doll Museum’s collection.
*Included in the kit is a paper pattern with complete instructions, plus all of the materials needed to create the two-piece suit, false sleeves, quilted muff and coordinating hat. This kit contains a combination of fabrics and trims including vintage tan silk brocade, blue and cream windowpane silk, lace, silk and chenille ribbon, and a pre-covered hat form.
The blue and cream windowpane silk taffeta is a Carmel Doll Shop exclusive, created from an antique document.
(Doll and accessories are not included.)
