Édouard Dehors, "Cravate Blanche" Ensemble Kit by Michael Canadas
Édouard Dehors, "Cravate Blanche" Ensemble Kit by Michael Canadas
Let’s face it, our dashing 1860’s era gentleman, Édouard, looks great in everything! As an exclusive for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, Michael Canadas has created a period accurate, two-piece ensemble kit for Édouard, our exclusive artist-made Dehors doll by Carl Armstrong.
This dapper, beautifully tailored costume is composed of fine, black wool and features a coat with tails, silk-lined lapels, tiny gold buttons and matching high-waisted trousers. Underneath, he wears a vest of white on white floral cotton as well as a sleeveless white cotton shirt-front with pleating, along with a white cotton bow tie. An emerald green satin sash adds a spot of color. A black silk top hat with a black rosette ribbon band completes the ensemble.
The patterns and materials are available for your sewing pleasure in a complete kit which includes a paper pattern with full instructions and all of the materials needed to create the suit and hat. This user friendly kit offers helpful step by step instructions on stitches and techniques as well as beautifully curated materials. Doll, accessories and shoes are not included.
