We are pleased to offer an expertly pre-sewn sample of this exclusive and limited edition dress created for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique by Jeffrey Cook of Maison Jeffrey.

Jeffrey has created a gorgeous, period accurate 1860’s dress appropriate for artist-made Huret and Rohmer dolls. The striking, “Bonne Année” (Happy New Year) dress is composed of fine vintage wool in an appealing shade of cardinal red with muted black stripes and features a full, tarlatan-lined skirt and short sleeves. Eye-catching details include embroidered black trim, a lace neckline and a black silk sash edged with pearl studded trim. A snood of fine black net edged in silk ribbon and decorated with tiny pearls completes this enchanting costume.
