We are pleased to offer an expertly pre-sewn sample of “Lad of the Glen.” As an exclusive for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, Jeffrey Cook of Maison Jeffrey designed this period accurate 1840’s Scottish ensemble for “Albert,” Carl Armstrong’s exclusive KPM reproduction china boy. Inspired by the Victorian passion for all things Scottish, the “Lad of the Glen” costume features a kilt and sash made from Royal Stewart plaid wool, a velveteen jacket, belt, shirt, and a “Glengarry” hat. A special added accessory is a miniature faux fur sporran, trimmed with steel beads.
