We are pleased to offer an expertly pre-sewn sample of “Opéra-Comique.” As an exclusive for the Carmel Doll Shop Boutique, Jeffrey Cook of Maison Jeffrey has created a period accurate 1840’s costume for our dear “Adelina,” Carl Armstrong’s exclusive KPM reproduction china lady. This two-piece costume is created from diaphanous white margilan silk with a delightful, crinkled texture, opalescent glass bead embellishments and fine cotton embroidery throughout. Features include, a fitted bodice of white silk, off the shoulder neckline, ribbon embellished short sleeves, and a skirt that cascades in three delicate tiers. Adelina wears a garland of white ribbon flowers in her hair.
