We are pleased to offer an expertly pre-sewn sample of “Shop Girl,” a classic daywear kit for Fanny and Her Friends. The most essential component in a turn of the twentieth century ladies wardrobe was a “shirtwaist” - today, known as a blouse. Featuring a practical air, largely due to the simplicity of the design, the look is comprised of a batiste blouse, paired with a burgundy cotton skirt, and finished by a vintage windowpane linen vest that boasts shimmering gilt brass buttons. A matching modified cartwheel hat completes this very smart silhouette. A very special bonus is the fact that handcrafted in-house leather slippers are included in each kit, as well as a pair of silk stockings.
