"Crossroads" Cotton-053

$45.00

A new fabric in our lineup, “Crossroads” is an exact duplication of an 1860s cotton. This lovely, lightweight, cotton voile features a checked pattern of black stripes against a tan background, while deep red lines add a rich dimension. This is one of those fabrics that begs to be fashioned into an enfantine era dress, or select it for a lady china of the same era.
Denise Buese’s “Cornucopia” pattern was utilized here to create an exquisite ensemble with this delightful “Crossroads” voile, as shown in the accompanying photo. The edges of the ensemble are bound with strips of “Louis XVI Rouge” silk found here, plus black double loop picot (4 yards) Trim-071, also available on this site. The coordinating Hat Form can be found in our Millinery Department.
