We are pleased to offer the first installment in a complete line of costume kits for our stunning 1890’s lady doll, “Lily Bramble.”

Jardin D’ete (summer garden), is a tailored yet feminine day look for Lily rendered in a Carmel Doll Shop exclusive cotton featuring a sprigged floral pattern on a field of cream with contrasting details of mauve silk. Details of the three-piece ensemble include a fitted jacket with gigot sleeves, a peplum at the waist, and a double collar. The jacket is worn over a sleeveless blouse with a high, detachable ruched collar and a cluster of antique millinery worn at the neck. The full skirt features a flat front and a subtle train in back. A fabric covered bonnet trimmed in vintage powder blue millinery flowers and velvet ribbon in a rich wine hue completes the costume. 

For your sewing pleasure, Jeffrey Cook has assembled a complete kit which includes everything needed to create the garment shown: a paper pattern, full instructions with interesting historic insights and expertly curated textiles and notions.
