We are delighted to offer an expertly sewn sample of our stunning “Avenue de L’Opéra”gown. The period accurate 1860’s costume, designed by Michael Canadas, is comprised of a fitted and seamed peplum style bodice in peacock blue silk. The bodice is embellished in a wealth of trims including fine gold soutache, dove gray chenille, and a silky fringe in peacock blue. A voluminous and beautifully tailored skirt of matte finish satin in a rich cream hue is embellished with panels of peacock blue silk with gold soutache, chenille and black pom-pom accents. An elegant, hooded cape richly trimmed in fur-like dove gray chenille, gold soutache and black pom-poms completes the ensemble. Shoes are not included.
