Designed by the talented Denise Woodward, this kit includes everything needed to create a classic French bébé costume. Utilizing our exclusive “Mademoiselle le Chat” cotton (recreated from a circa 1890 fabric), the costume features a long waisted jacket with an integrated, ruched plastron in dusty pink silk and a pleated knee length skirt. The costume is embellished with black faux fur tufts, frothy white lace, pink silk cuffs and piping and an oversized pink silk sash. Amelie’s sweet face is framed by a lavish, matching bonnet lined in pink silk and trimmed with black faux fur and black velvet ribbon. This costume kit includes a period accurate pattern, expertly curated materials and helpful instructions.
