We are delighted to offer an expertly sewn sample of our stunning “Coucher de Soleil” gown. The period accurate 1860’s costume, designed by Michael Canadas, is comprised of a fitted and seamed, front closing peplum style bodice in a rich, deep coral-hued silk. The bodice is embellished with a wealth of trims including cotton braid, fine gold soutache, gold tone buttons, and a silky fringe in a soft, jewel red hue. A voluminous, beautifully tailored skirt with a lavish train is comprised of silk in a beautiful shade of taupe and embellished with cranberry red cotton trim, gold soutache braid and gold buttons. An elegant, hooded cape closes at the throat with tasseled, gold soutache ties and is trimmed with gold soutache and cranberry red cotton braid. Shoes are not included.
