“Amélie,” our Bébé Bru artisan doll made by Grovian Doll Museum resident artist Carl Armstrong, has been waiting patiently for new additions to her wardrobe and this classic costume in a vivid palette is sure to make her smile.

Designed by Denise Woodward, the kit includes everything needed to create a classic French bébé costume for Amélie. Rendered in floral printed cotton in a mouthwatering shade of coral pink cotton and solid “flamingo pink” silk, the costume features a long waisted jacket with an integrated, ruched silk plastron and a pleated knee length skirt. Embellishments include covered silk buttons, frothy white lace and silk bows. Amélie’s sweet face is framed by a lavish, matching bonnet lined in pink silk and trimmed with paper millinery roses. This costume kit includes a period accurate pattern, expertly curated materials and helpful instructions.
