Designed by the talented Denise Woodward, this kit includes everything needed to create a classic French bébé costume. Rendered in a printed cotton featuring a delicate, botanical motif in a palette of burgundy and blue on a field of cream, the costume features a long waisted jacket with an integrated ruched plastron in a rich, mauve hued silk and a pleated knee length skirt. Embellishments include blue silk piping and ribbons, delicate lace and a lavish two tone sash in mauve and blue silk. Amelie’s sweet face is framed by a lavish, matching bonnet lined in blue silk and trimmed with paper millinery roses. The kit includes a period accurate pattern, expertly curated materials and helpful instructions.
